This is the best Happy Birthday to Jesus Cake that I have ever come across. I love that each thing placed on the cake symbolizes Jesus's love for us. I have been using this with my kids for at least 4 or 5 years. We always read the Christmas Story from the Bible first and then the kids take turns putting each symbol on the cake. At the end we light the candles and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. I use the same Angel, Star, and fake Evergreen each year. We made the Angel and Star out of thin foam craft sheets white for the Angel and Yellow for the star. I used a pipe cleaner to make the Angels Halo. Very Simple and such a great way to explain what Christmas is really about.
