WARM SPRINGS.. Our 4th Natural Wonder of Georgia.

The Greeneteam and I headed to see our 4th Natural Wonder, The Warm Springs. I have to say I was a TINY bit disappointed in the Springs portion of the Wonder.. I guess I just thought it would have more of a WOW factor. Does that make sense?? All the pools were empty and there was just a small tub for the kids to put there hands in. ( They do open the pools twice a year.. Memorial and Labor Day for people to swim. Tickets can be purchased in advance but I believe it is pretty pricey??) I kept asking people if I was missing something as I did not want to leave without making sure we had seen the wonder.

The museum that housed the Warm Spring Pools was just OK. Had it not been for the Little White House tour that we did prior I would have been really disappointed. The Little White House saved the wonder in my opinion. Just my 2 cents..:) Have you been?? What did you think? I will post about The Little White House and FDR State Park in future posts..:)

  2. Yep, I've been there. My mom took us when we were kids! Funny, I don't remember much about the springs part, except what they were for, but I do remember the Little White House and I thought that was very neat!
I know you made it special for the team, though! They will always remember the fun they had together...and that's the most impt thing!
    Love,
