As part of our Natural Wonder Field Trip Tour, the Greeneteam and I visited The Little White House in Warm Springs, GA. I have to say this was the best part of seeing the Warm Springs Natural Wonder. The Museum was really great. We started the tour with a timeline of FDR'S life and then watched a 15 minute movie about FDR and his life at The Little White House. We all enjoyed the museum, the movie and all of the memorabilia. After the Museum we walked the grounds, sat by the fountain, visited the servants quarters and then lastly visited the Little White House. (seen in the picture above). The kids thought it was cool to be in a "presidents house" even if it was just his vacation home.
If you make a trip to see the Warm Springs I would highly reccomend you start with The Little White House. With admission they give you a pass to head over to the Spring Pools and Museum. Tickets are just $4 for kids and $8 for adults. Ticket price includes both museums, the Little White House and the Warm Spring Pools. While this "WONDER" did not have the "WOW" factor of the other wonders it was by far the most educational of all the Wonders. :) Gotta love that!!!
