To Blog or not to Blog???
To Blog or not to Blog??
A friend of mine asked if I seriously had time to blog?? Looking at these pictures I would say NOO!!!!
My 10 year old while I was blogging decided to make dinner. Not a first for her so I let her go with it.
She first burned the Macaroni and cheese...then preceded to take the hot pan and sit it on the new flannel backed Easter tablecloth..see bottom of pot in picture above.
When I came downstairs the pan was on the counter. I said " a little trouble with dinner??" she said "Yes". I then picked up the pan to wash and saw the DISASTER on the bottom.. I looked around the kitchen to see where this mess could have come from?? Everything looked fine. So I said to her " where did this mess come from??" She was sitting at the dinner table and moved her plate over. There under her plate was the HUGE hole...the look on her face was priceless.
Her dad and I started laughing so hard!! I said "did you think I wasn't going to notice?" and she said I thought I could put something over it.. FUNNY!!
Lessons learned: Makenna
1. Make one box of Macaroni at a time unless you use a bigger pan.
2. Never sit a hot pan on a table/table cloth/ counter with out putting a trivet or oven mitt down.
3. Tell your mother the TRUTH..she is going to figure it out eventually.
The lesson for me: Blog in my spare time not during critical hour/s of breakfast, lunch, and dinner when children may injure themselves or burn house down. :)
