Tonight John took the kids to the auditions for Arabian Nights. Three out of the four kids tried out. If we have to be there for one why not three or four?? Right?
Maddie worked so hard on her look before she left. A dress, earrings, bracelets. When she got to the auditions they asked her to try out for a BOY role.. MELTDOWN.. So sad, too bad. She was beside herself. If only they had given her a little princess to read for, or a cute bird?? Not the case it was a boy. John said he would not give her a chance if he were the director. Not to be is our guess.
Next was Carson. John said he sort of had an aloof attitude. Did he want to be there or not?? He read for several Prince roles?? Makenna said he needed help on words, and she had to help him as to when it was his turn to go?? John thinks 50/50?? Carson was psyched when he got home and thinks he has a 90% chance. Oh my!! Wonder what will happen?? If he does get it will he do ok??
Last was Makenna. Her fear is that she will get the role of the rock!! It has one line. I told her not to worry. If that is the ONLY role between the 3 of them we will not be participating. Way to big of a commitment for 2 solid months. She is hopeful for one of the "sister" roles. John thinks she will definitely get something. What will it be?? Who knows?? Now we play the waiting game.
