Ok.. I can't believe that I only blogged TWICE in July!! Shocked I tell you!! All that I can say is that I must have been BUSY.. Need to do better in August so here goes. :)My boys celebrated their 9th Birthday yesterday...
The day started off with a Birthday Money Balloon.
Let me first say that my boys did NOT have a Birthday party.. They chose instead to take a $50 cash payoff..This cash payoff came the morning of their Birthday in the form of a Birthday Money Balloon.
John and I hung the balloon the night before while they were sleeping. When they awoke in the A.M. ....Voila a MONEY BALLOON hanging from the ceiling.
I will tell you that when they came in to wake us up the words that I heard were:
"This was a genius plan!" Seriously they loved it!!
We spent the day shopping, eating lunch out and rollerskating. Overall having a GREAT day..
In the end though, Jack came in and said.. "Mama, the money balloon was the best thing ever. " I said, I am glad you liked it. He then said, "Can you imagine how great it would be if EVERY DAY you could wake up to a money balloon??" YEAH, I said.. I can imagine it.. Can't you????
I think it is these little things that we do as moms that keep our kids dreaming, guessing, thinking, and wondering!!

I think you are right Nan! Great birthday for the boys . . . BTW their cards are (unfortunately) still in my top desk drawer at the office. I promise will send out on Monday. Love & miss you.
