Happy St. Patricks Day
Today we had our 2nd Annual Home School GO GREEN St. Paddys Day Party. Sadly the weather was LOUSY. Cold, cloudy and some light rain. The kids still had fun and I think most of the moms did too.
The idea for the party is to wear your green and bring your green snack to share. The kids and I made heart shaped cupcakes that we iced with green icing and green sprinkles. We then took 3 hearts put them together to form a green shamrock. I wanted to get twizzlers for the stems but didn't so we just used green pieces of paper. I thought they turned out pretty cute. We had green veggies, dips, cookies and even green lemonade. Such a fun idea!!
