Baseball to Shakespeare all in a day!!

The Greeneteam and I spent Thursday morning at Turner Field. We were there to do a MATH Tour although quite honestly it felt like just a regular tour. We had lots of fun. The kids loved the press and announcement booths, the dugout, and of course getting to stand on the field. My husband John was able to attend which I loved and so did the kids. I figured if there was any field trip I could get him on it would be this one. I think he enjoyed it.

After Turner Field we headed to The Varsity for Slaw dogs and onion Rings. If you live in Atlanta you know all about The Varsity. I love traditions, and The Varsity when we are downtown around lunch is one of them. :)

I ended the day teaching the kids a small lesson on Shakespeare and taking them to see the play the Shakespeare Stealer. It was put on by a HS Club called Artios. The kids did a fantastic job in the play and my girls so enjoyed it. I would really love to get the girls involved in some type of drama type class in the next 6 months.

All in all it was such a good day. Team Spirit, Tradition, and Art/Drama. That is what I call a great Home School day!!

  1. Seriously, how cute does Maddie look with that hair cut??? It's perfect for her. Wish I could find the perfect cut for me!

  2. If only we could both find the perfect cut!! I would neverhave cut her hair that short on purpose. I really do love it though and think it is a great cut and so fits her personality. :) Thank goodness for accidents!! :)
