Cookies anyone????

My girl Makenna finished selling her Girl Scout Cookies today... Yeah!!

Today she did a door to door " Walk About. "I love this approach!! She had the cookies in hand and went door to door selling them. She has never tried this before and Oh how I wish we had. She was great at it. Such a natural. Most people bought at least one box from her. One older man who turned her down even came back down the street to change his mind and buy from her. I loved it.

It truly is not about whether you NEED the cookies or not. It is about building a little girls confidence and character.

To say I was proud of her today is probably an understatement. Today is the kind of day where I can literally watch her and see an amazing future for her. A sky's the limit type of future. I love that she has NO FEAR. I love that she doesn't have a shy bone in her body. I love that she seems to have a natural gift and talent towards sales. I love that she was over the moon at the last sale. I love that at the end of the day she felt a sense of a huge accomplishment.

What is the old saying a picture is worth a 1000 words?? All you need to do is look at this one and know how happy my girl was in completing her goal for Girl Scouts. For all of you that supported them this year thank you!!
